There isn't any on screen display of power, biomass, etc. I played a few games and here are my suggestions for improvement: I look forward to seeing what it develops into. The text in the boxes were missing or at least not shown anymore (new game and quit), but they still worked. And the other issue was when I hit the timelimit and returned to the mainmenu. So I was not able to create a mission or to move the screen so that I can select it. I got a place to mine water on the right most orbitline but as soon as my mouse just hovered over it, the infopanel showed up and I couldn't select it. I experienced a major UI problem in the starmap. Or I simply didn't noticeĮxcept the limited time, the game is already quite playable and I encountered only the following two issues. Did it only accidently on my core and never got the colour I chose.īut of course, it's an early version. liquid and power run through adjacent objects) and the colour tool seems to be additive and not absolute when painting. Would like to see where it goes.īetter Item/gameplay descritions in the future would be nice to have (eg. I was hooked by your funny game description of the little accidents that could happen. I really like the idea of the moral ambiguous/absent ai core and this side of view. Thanks for the demo, I'll likely give it another run through to see how far I get.

I wanted the crew to have their own rooms and private toilets but the lack of oxygen shut that down quite quickly! I found out the hard way that using doors without vents led to the station occupants suffocating! Playing a benevolent A.I. I didn't really feel I could design my station how I'd have liked to in the early game due to the vents being a mid-tech. Sending members of the crew off in the early game to scavenge for essential supplies could be a way to form a game loop.

I'm sure this is to come in the final game but perhaps a suggestion would be to have the shuttle missions accessible earlier by lowering the crew level requirements. I didn't have the feeling that I get in the earlier game examples of the "next project" or the next area that really needs my focus. With nothing really to build and the colonists levelling up slowly due to a lack of completable jobs, I felt like I was twiddling my thumbs at points. The demo did have me speeding up time as I was waiting for a colonist to level up so I could research the later techs to have any form of game progress. and, overall, I think the bones are there. I'm a fan of the genre including games like Dwarf Fortress, Banished etc. The various wall and floor designs were in-keeping and the buildable objects all looked good!

I sent my colonists (occupants? crew?) away on a few missions which was a fun touch and expanding the station was easy. Overseer" theme with some morally questionable decisions. I loved the aesthetic and I hope you can branch out with the "A.I.
